Central Italy was left reeling again on January 18, 2017 as a new wave of earthquakes brought fresh terror to a snowbound mountainous area still recovering from deadly tremors last year. Roma – A partire dalla mezzanotte, l’Istituto nazionale di geofisica e vulcanologia nelle zone del Centro Italia, ha registrato più di 80 scosse di terremoto.
Secondo l’Ingv, sono state due le scosse con magnitudo più alta: 3.5: la prima, registrata alle 2,28 nella provincia dell’Aquila, a una profondità di 10 chilometri; la seconda ha colpito la provincia di Rieti alle 2.53, a 8 chilometri di profondità.
